I think I may have let my "one" go, I was in a FWB relationship and I fell in love with her, unfortunately she didn't return this love.

If this was a more so temporary relationship then I hasten to say this, but have you considered this connection you've made to be something merely along the lines of lust? I know it's a bit hard to admit, but it's an absolute possibility. I just got out of a nearly year long relationship, that I'm contemplating the basis to be highly off physical attraction. If a relationship is not in the stars for you two as lovers, than a friendship is something to seek. I do believe that if you genuinely enjoy her company then it's worth while to maintain a friendship. If something does transpire between you two during your friendship then you can firmly believe there is something more than just a physical/sexual attraction...you can firmly believe that you two have a solid foundation to move on from. Don't consider this as you letting go...believe that you are moving on...not from her, but with her to a higher ground of communication. Do not stress over her, but do what feels natural. Call her up for coffee or a decent conversation...don't convince her that you're worth it...show her who you are and let her fall for you all over again. Just keep one thing in mind...love is oh so much more than passion.

Pl let me know if this helps...I sincerely wish you the best.

If she was the one then you would not be feeling this way, you need to stop and remember love is not suppose to hurt and when you love some one that person normally loves you back. The person that you are meant to be with is out there so be patient, and remember you will know when you have found "the one". Keep hope alive ,be strong and keep your faith.

It sounds like the feelings weren't mutual - and in that case she would not be the one. Move on - having a one sided relationship is impossible and not worth it! There's someone out there that will return your affection - and then she WILL be the "One"

FWB? what's that?

Unfortunately, you'll just have to grieve until you're finally over her. Believe it or not, there's actually (scientifically) more than just "one" for us. And obviuosly she couldn't have been your "one" if she didn't return your feelings the same way.

I know, it sucks :( ugh!

If it was ment to be, it will be. So don't sweat the small stuff. But really, don't settle for someone that doesn't love you like you love them. If it ain't there for her, it ain't there. Just know that how ever much you think you love her now, you will love someone else more. It takes time...you have your whole life ahead of you. When you quit looking, they find you.

You keep on looking until you find one that does return your love. It's a big world out there.....keep your eyes and heart wide open.

If the person did not feel the same way, then you haven't found the "one".

It'll come.....2+2 sometimes does equal 1.

Good Luck.
