I have always felt that due to my adolescent years and the crap I took in High school that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were heros. Yes they did something horrid in Columbine and yes they went out of control but then no one would stop the others from harassing and pciking on them. Cassie Bernall clearly did not know Jesus or she would have done much more to help these two sad men before it was too late.

Am I in the wrong here? Or do others agree with me?

I agree with you. I feel sad that Eric and Dylan killed all those people especially since they only had 2 weeks left until graduation but I blame the school and the teachers for not bothering to help them through it. I was picked on all the time from an elementary student until I finished high school last June and I hated my life so bad that I even thought about killing someone in 9th grade. I didn't have any friends and was in special ed classes all through middle school-high school because I have a 5th grade math level. I also was in speech therapy while I was in middle school which didn't help my social status at all and had no one to turn too. I tried talking to counselors but they never bothered doing anything to help me. Just like Eric and Dylan I was often a loner due to it was hard for me to make friends and I was considered a retard because I was in Special Ed classes and everyone thought I was a freak as well. At least Eric and Dylan had each other. Yeah I think of Eric and Dylan as hero's and I blame the school for Eric and Dylan having to resort to that end. It's sad but no one cared for them or noticed the pain they were going through until they started killing people. It's really sad.

I too was picked on in high school. I don't believe it was as bad as it gets today, but I can relate.
What they did was very wrong. It would have actually been braver and taken much more courage to report the abuse and fight the people who were harrassing them.
I do not believe these boys are heroes. Not in any sense of the word. They were weak and cowardly.
If you are telling the truth and you really do think they are heroes, you might need help. Seek counseling.

They are most certainly NOT heroes! What they did was cowardly and selfish. They should be like the rest of us who've been bullied over the years - either stand up for yourself (and that is NOT what they did) or suck it up.
