While I wish you success in your search, I really think you would be more likely to find someone that knew or knows him if you posted it in a genealogy OR family history OR Cleveland area.
Or, perhaps takes a little longer, but if you have access to having your own web page, post your search there ... with whatever names, places such as "Quimby Ave., Cleveland, Ohio -- you can provide, and someone might find it while search.
