I mean seriously. Doesnt he realize that hes ******? His career is ******, his personal life is ******. He tried to blame it on the drinking.
“In vino veritas.” - In wine there is truth. You never say anything you don't mean or you weren't thinking when you're drunk. He is just a worthless racist who thinks that its okay to call people derogatory names. Its 2006, buddy.

I completely agree. He is freaking out (as evidence by all his "apologies"). He isn't fooling anyone. Lucky for him he's set financially for life-- Seinfeld reruns will pay for his great-great grandkids' college tuition. He will have a lot of trouble finding work again though (if he ever does).

The funny thing is that the club owner said that he wasn't even drinking before he got on stage. He just winged it when he was spewing that racist trash. Those feelings don't just pop up at the spur of the moment. He's been feeling that way about blacks for a while. He just happened to slip up and let his true self come out. His career is screwed and he knows it. It's such a shame. I was a HUGE fan of his before all of this happened. Kramer is my favorite character on Seinfeld. Anyway, I'll always love Kramer. It's Michael Richards that I despise.

Regardless of there being a court case or not ,there are some valid points there,I work in the lodging industry,we have a club close by and they(club guests) always try and park in our lot,the owner of our property told us absolutely no club parking unless they had a room its for "our" guest,I asked two females to move thier car and was called a racist,,how am I a rascist by doing what I was asked to do? the rascist card is tossed out there without any regard for the people that are actually being discrimnated agianst,if you are denied a job becuase of your color get a lawyer own the place! If you get pulled over by a cop roll down your window and pot smoke rolls out don,t expect kid gloves.Treat me with respect and listen to what I,m trying to say not how I say it,we are crippled by PC it has literally stopped us in our tracks ,you don,t like Obamas policys you speak out your called a rascist and what the hell do you say to that? You know your not,you know that every person walking the face of this earth has some bigotry in them the fact that they know better makes them not a rascist,I,m a white /Lati

I've heard many comics use the C-word (the female equivalent to the N-word) including Bill Hicks. They were treated with applause. Michael Richards was on Jesse Jackson's show apologizing for it. Paul Mooney was right beside him. If you knew Mooney's act you would know how absurd that situation is. All Jackson wanted to see was Richards squirm.

Lotus, your sentiments were well said and exactly right.

A couple came out saying that he insulted jews too....(I thought he was jewish too or maybe that was seinfeld) but at any rate everyone just sat there and took it. People should speak up about any type of racial prejudiced. If they had done so the first time he did it, I'm sure he wouldn't have done it again.

I think it is quite possible for people to say things they don't mean when drunk. Imagine being a washed up pseudo comedian who has to kill 90 minutes in front of an audience. He is angry, bitter and not especially talented. I imagine he said a lot of offensive things. He probably is racist...

I think he has away's felt this way. Any it finally came out. My mom always says what you do, feel and say in the dark will eventually come to the light.
Drinking had nothing to do with it.
His career is definitely over. Noone is believing his apologies

I agree, however, I feel pretty sorry for the guy since he's pretty much destroyed his reputation and career. The funny thing is he's a Jew and so he should definitely be able to relate to black being hung and whatnot since Hitler killed millions of his people.

He got mad and lashed out at those guys and used the worst insult he could think of which was the "N" word. He used this word, in my opinion, in the same way as I would use "B***h" if I wanted to insult someone. I think media response and public anger went too far. I think people should quit being so sensative...
