if your eyes are green make sure you put on black eye liner it makes your eye color stand out more and start with a darer color on your eye lid then gradually go lighter above your eye lid then right below your eye brow use white lightly under your eye brow not only does it let your eye showdor look nice it covers up those noticable unplucked hairs

You should go for a lighter shade toward the top of the brow it makes the eyes look bigger and brighter. Put a darker shade in the crease, but more towards the outer part of the eye, and a light but darker then what's by your brow right above the eyelashes. You can basically work any color no matter what people say, even though it is better to match it with your eyes. Just don't go for any darks like brown or black.

I usually get 3 shades of the same color. I put the medium shade all over my lid, the light shade above that, almost up to my brows, and I do a line of the dark shade right ablve my top lashes. If I don't have a very light shade of whatever color I'm using, I use silver, it works really well with blue eye shadow. A light gold can work too.

What you could do is go to MACcosmetics.com. You can chat with a live Mac artist. You should also find out where your local Mac Store or counter is and call to make an appointment for a makeover session. I have done that several times and they will teach you a lot of neat techniques and plus you will look FIERCE when you leave the store. ;-)

first you apply the darkest color as the base starting above the eyelashes to under the crease of your eyelid, then apply the next color that is a little brightest above the crease to under your eyebrow, and last; apply the brightest on your crease. Take an applicator brush, blend the colors together, and it should come out real pretty.

I believe the natural shades of browns and bronze look best with green eyes, and black eyeliner and mascara. A little white along the brow bone sets it off well.

the mac website is fab, you should check it out! they give really good diagrams. i dont believe in eye shadows that "go" with certain eye colours. you should wear make up that compliments your outfit and the look that you are dressing for.

oh green eyes look AMAZING with purples! buy different shades and start with the lightest shade on the inside corner and then middle shade in the middle, then the outer corner with vivid or dark purple. use black liner or plum, and finish with black mascara! my mom has green eyes and loves it when i do her eyes like this, beautiful!
