Sad isn't it? I think some women become lazy once they are married and assume that they do not need to maintain their physical bond with their husband. The very same husbands who become frustrated and unhappy and seek solace elsewhere, at which point their wives become aggrieved and apportion blame. My husband and I agreed before we were married that we would never neglect our sex life and we never have, even though with two demanding careers and children, it means we have to set the alarm early! We are still wildly in love and emotionally inseparable. I wouldn't want it any other way, and I have no idea why anyone would choose to 'shut down' on their life partner. My husband describes it as 'best friends and lovers too'. I fail to understand why women are so keen to remember certain portions of the marriage service and yet fail to recall 'with my body I thee honour!'
