You can use olive oil inside latex gloves to soak them while you watch tv. It sounds gross, but it's an awesome treatment. Also put lotion on each night, and each morning.

Try Glysomed, I think it is made in Germany and man does it work! (Creams work better then lotions!) As well, wash your hands first, if possible, so that you may get the chance to retain some moisture in your skin. And put cream or lotion on right after you bath or shower. You may want to carry around a small bottle with you so it is at handy when needed.
At night, load your hands up with cream, or any other you may have and put cotton gloves on or some kind of plastic bags. I know this sound strange but it is the only way, I know, to get your hands feeling better again. Keep going till the problem is better.

First of all you need to tell me why your hands are so rough. Is it due to your work like, a mehanic, work with plaster or in construction, wash your hands alot like a Dr. or Nurse and wear gloves, or do you have a medical condition that you know of, or even genetics that could be the cause? It's easier to recomend treatment if you know the cause, reason or underlying condition. As a general recomendation try hot Parafin treatments and a good penetrating hand cream with gloves, especialy at night as treatments. If it is severe, see a Dermatologist.

Use a mixture of baking soda and and a mild, liquid, cleansing cream (I use a Nivea liquid milk cleansing cream). Make a paste and rub it over your hands for a couple of minutes (up to your elbows, if you like). Rinse off well and apply almond or organic coconut oil. Do this several days in row, and then use the oils on a daily basis. You don't need much of the oil. Rub the oil in well. Another tip is to use one of the oils after your shower or bath. Before you dry off, apply the oil and rub it in, then pat yourself dry with a towel. Your skin will be a soft as a baby! Good luck!

I'm not too bright about skin but I know alittle bit.
My guess would be to get hand lotion or another lotion with alvera
in it and if you're washing dishes by hand, stop or at least get rubber gloves or use a dish washer if you have one.
Also wear gloves during house hold chores if your currently using your bare hands

You can go to a nail salon and get a manicure. They cost about $15, and you can get them without polish. A manicure will polish and clean up your hands. Also, you should moisturize your hands with a lotion, like Olay, it will keep your hands nice and soft!

I would use Burt's Bees. You can get a hand kit for about $15 and from your local Pharmacy or Drug store. It works magic!
