I know a guy that is only 26 and he is on Real Estate for a while and he claims he can give me the best service in the planet (basically) and wouldn't lie to me in this transaction (the most important of my life) what do you guys suggest?
Should I give him a try or not?

The real question is ' do you trust this guy?'

is he good at what he does?
is he respected in his workplace?

Your focusing on the wrong number (age), how is his experience?

Has he done this type of case before?

If he passes all these, then yea give him a shot.
If your just doing it to be cheap and to use someone you know...rethink that

good luck with the new place

People who tend to be to eager usually stumble and you don't want to be the log he stumbled over. I keep learning the hard way that great deals tend to turn out to be duds and I get burnt in the even if they swear up and down promising to pay if any thing happens.
Pay a lot more and go with some one who has been in it for a long time, there's just to much to understand. Great deals most of the time (basically) tend to be very costly with a lot of head aches

Give him a try. I don't think age necessarily has anything to do with his ability to provide good service to you. I would say that if you give him a shot and things aren't going the way you want, make sure you have a way out of the contract.

Absolutely! I am 33 and I my experience has been better with people close to my age than with 50+ year olds. Times change and sometimes people do not change with them. Also the fresher the better, sometimes the longer someones been doing something the more lax they become.

Find out if he's licensed. It may help you feel more comfortable to know that there's an agency that you can turn to if something goes wrong. And 26 isn't that young.

Give him a shot. I'm sure at one time or another we all had a situation where another person didn't trust us just because we were too young or too old.

Trust has nothing to do with it. If you are selling property then the person who PAYS you the money is the buyer!

If you are doing contract for deed then you go through a lawyer and its all on the up and up.

My son is only 20 and owns 3 rental properties. Trust had nothing to do with, MONEY DID !
