Yeah, a pair of vise-grips, though you can pick up a set of sockets that are made for this. Unless you have a lot of problems with rounded bolt-heads, a pair of vise-grips is the way to go.

Use a tape measure to get the size of the bolt head and go to any parts store and buy an "e-z out".

Several ways, depending on access and tools available:
Grind new (deepened) flats on bolt head-
Cut screw slot across head-
Vise-grips-
Pipe wrench
Drill a hole through head into shank and use an "easy-out"-
Drill hole horizontally through head so a hard steel rod can be inserted and used to turn bolt.

You need a rounded bolt removal socket set. I bought a set from chicago brand uk and it worked really well. Comes in metric or imperial sizes and lifetime guarantee.

1- use power cutting tool to cut a cross on the bolt. than use philips screw driver take it out.
2- use Drill-Out Power Bolt Extractor cost $50

vise grips usally work but now they have a new wrench out that tightens on the head as you loosen it its at sears sorry don't know the name
