My Kapersky Internet Security works fine.It didn't crashed my computer. It has blocked the MSSQL.worm.Helkern! from intruding into my computer many times. It also detected 'Trojan.Generic' when I tried to install an add-on to my Internet Explorer. It also blocked adwares and includes a firewall and many other features. I also use AVG Anti Virus. It is also good. It also detected and quarrantined many viruses before I started using Kapersky. To avoid conflicts you can always inactivate one on the anti virus program realtime scanning .... So I think there is no one effective anti virus program. . . I would also suggest installing McAfee SiteAdvisor. It is not an anti virus program but an add-on for Internet Explorer. It turns red if you go to a site that has virus, adwares, malwares etc. And you can check with it before visiting a website. If it does not know about that site it will let you know too. ..This is prevention rather than cure. I am using this combination. . . I also use Kapersky firewall instead of Windows firewall.

There are some reliable suggestions obtainable whilst it includes anti-virus classes, i've got in my opinion tried 2 i could propose: AVG and Avast! the two have, different than for the unfastened version, a version you need to purchase, yet those purely have some extra suggestions which at the instant are not considered necessary to your safety, nonetheless they are in a position to be particularly smart, as quickly as you have been employing this technique for a mutually as you are able to choose if those suggestions are nicely actually worth the cost. i exploit AVG at homestead, and it has saved my laptop sparkling for some years now (and it has chanced on a gaggle of viruses my previous anti-virus could no longer locate) i'm no longer so familiar with Avast! nonetheless i exploit it at artwork and it sort of feels to artwork superb too. although any anti-virus application is probable effectual as long as you preserve it as much as date.

seen almost all the antiviruses and nod32 impresses me the most. effectiveness of an antivirus depends on how the computer is used. and almost all the antiviruses perform the same way for a few exceptions, so nod32 is good since it doesnt use a lot of system resources and works pretty well, although the interface is not that user friendly

From my experience, Panda Titanium with Internet protection is the best for a pc. There is another one that is great to detect viruses, but it crashes the pc, and is very proffesional. It's named kaspersky. I have tried many antiviruses, but now i will use only panda.
