Yes sweet one. I have black hair and pale skin. I have shaved it, used wax and whatever for more than 50 years. It has deceased as I've aged. I pluck the big
old lady hairs. Lots of 'Hollywood' types shave daily. It's very normal. If you can stand it epilate. I do. It lasts longer.

Try either threading or waxing - both are inexpensive and with long lasting results - about 4-6 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. Once you begin waxing or threading, hair growth will eventually become more fine and also take longer for the hair to grow back in. Another option is to have laser hair removal, but it is costly, and you have to do a few sessions. It is worth it in the end, but just a huge financial burden when you do it! You could also try products like nair and veet, but I personally hate those products. They only dissolve the hair and not remove the hair at the root like waxing and threading. Good Luck!

Genetics, it's what it's all about! Waxing lasts up to 3-4 weeks, Depilatories can cause burn or skin reactions, but if you want something permanent and you can afford it, Laser! Some people pluck the lip area, but I as a professional don't advise it because it can cause little bumps that could get infected and could also cause darker thicker growth, skin discolorations and or dark blotches. I hope this information helps you to make a good decision.

Upper lip hair is normal indeed. But, if you want to confirm to the social "norms" of America, try threading. Waxing might sag your skin as you age, creams will lead to patchy skin over time and razors will give you unsightly stubble.
If threading is too painful, try bleacing. Also, save money to have permanent reduction by laser treatment.
But, if the hair is not so dark and noticeable, just leave it alone. We are usually the worst critics of ourselves, and make a mountain out of a molehill for no good reason.

YES! It is completely normal for women to have upper-lip, hair under the side burn area, and even under your chin! They sell little make-up scissors for quick trimmings.
