I think he will do well. I think Sean Salisbury said it best, if the QB is making rookie QB mistakes, then the broncos might as well put a rookie in there. I think that Cutler will do well, and the Broncos fans won't be harsh on him if he doesn't bring us to the promise land in his first year. I hope he's the next Roethlisberger, or however you spell his name. GO BRONCOS!!! Out

He will get a broken nose after the game when Jake Plummer punches him in the face. The Jake will get fined 10,000 dollars.
But during the game he will most likely fair well.

I agree that Cutler will have less pressure on him from the fans than Plummer did.

Much as I want to see the kid do well, though, he is facing a formidable Seahawk opponent in his first game. I am hesitant to expect much of him in that game. Follow that up against the Chargers which is another tough one.

I still remember how rough Elway had it in his rookie '83 season. Then again, he didn't have the O-line that Cutler will be working behind, nor did Elway have the solid running game that they do today.

Would I like to see a Cutler coming out party...similar to Big Ben's or Tom Brady's rookie campaigns? Absolutely...but they can't all start that way. So long as he doesn't go the other direction and start like Ryan Leaf, it would be all good.

I think he will do fairly well, with of course rookie mistakes mixed in. I don't believe he will win immediately because I think the Broncos have more problems than the QB position alone, but I certainly think the team is moving in the right direction by putting him in there. Besides I questioned the Broncos anyways when they signed him. Hadn't they been watching him in Arizona and what a disaster he was there?

He will struggle if the Broncos can't get there running game going early. The Seahaws will blitz him relentlessly otherwise and he will struggle. This is an important game for the Broncos if they lose they will probably miss out on the playoffs so that is added pressure also. I no Plummer has been struggling but nobody seems to be putting any blame on the reduction of yards being gained on the ground in recent games.

We'll have to wait & see this Sunday Night when the Broncos host the Seahawks. Jay Cutler will do his best, but it's too bad that Jake Plummer was benched for good.

most QBs don't fair well in their 1st ever regular season game.. especially pure rookies.

i expect he will be excited and nervous and will make some mistakes.. i don't expect to see denver win any more games for a while.. there is a huge learning curve cutler will have to observe.

Hard to say how he will do cuz he is after all a rookie. If they were smart they would run the ball and let him throw short passes and get his rhythm and confidence

Seattle secondary isn't that good so I expect Seattle to blitz and try to put alot of pressure on him. If the Denver OL can give him some time I think he'll do fine.
