I am 18 weeks pregnant and I have no urge or anything to want to have sex now. My finance get aggervated and I do to but I just don't feel like it anymore. I know most woman sex drive goes up during pregnany because of hormones but mine has went WAY down. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks everyone for your answers. I was beginning to wonder if I was the woman who went through this. But now I see I'm not! Thanks again.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mine is AWFUL. My husband asked one of his friends, who told him (of course) that HIS wife wanted it all the time, blah, blah. So of course he's all worried...But, yes, it's apparently perfectly normal.

Oh, yeah, in Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy, which is v. funny, she talks about this.

My sex drive didn't go back up until later in my pregnancy. I think every woman is different. Right now you are probably just feeling the baby move and so your mind is in a different place right now. Don't worry, you won't hurt the baby. It is important to "give in" once in a while to let your man feel loved. They feel isolated a lot during the pregnancy because everything is about you and the baby. Remember to give him some love too, and reassure him that this is just a temporary hormonal thing and that when your drive does come back, he'll be more than satisfied.

I suppose with 2 different children, you possibly can be relatively energetic, and thus just not realising that the youngster is relocating. It is still early days. I'm 23 weeks and after I used to be 18 weeks i would go all day with out feeling the little one transfer, and then it would begin as quickly as i sat down at night time. Now the actions are so strong i can believe them when i'm jogging round.

Yes. My sex drive seems to not exist. If my hubby didn't know better he would say I was a virgin with how little I want it. I get irritated about it but I just do other things. Oral, mutual masturbation, etc. It works OK for us. Nothing like the real thing but at least it is something for him. I also had this with my second pregnancy and it was a boy so hubby says this one is too. Good luck

Don't worry about this- it's just the way your body has reacted to the pregnancy and to the hormones.
I went through this too.
Tell your fiance that it is only going to be a few months and to be patient. But, it mioght not even be that long. Next week, you might feel differently.

You and your boyfriend shouldn't really worry about that right now. Most likely everything will get back to normal after you get settled into the pregnency mode. Good luck!!
