Favorite: Christmas (watching the old Rankin-Bass shows, wrapping presents with my daughters. Cookies. Cutting and decorating the tree. Egg nog.)
Least favorite: Christmas (commercials starting while I'm still eating Halloween candy, mall parking lots. Idiots and their shopping carts, smarmy Celine Dion songs on the radio, charities begging at a time when I can least afford to give. In-laws)

I usually love the holidays especially Christmas but this year has sucked so badly that I just can't get excited about it. And I hate it that now I can't even run in the store real quick for a loaf of bread without having to stand in a line that's a mile long!

The sentiment behind the holidays is wonderful, the smells of the house when making the goodies for friends and the hugs that come w/the holidays.
The news reports of crime relating to the holidays. People getting mugged, houses catching fire due to an overly dry tree and little children going w/o gifts.

I live in NY and I really love the trees changing colors and the smell of the cool air. I hate it when the weather is nice and cool for a couple days and then it get really warm. I like cooler weather not warm, and I definately hate summer.

Favourite thing is all the holiday decorations and giving gifts. Least fave is all the rude people I encounter whilst shopping.
