I think its better to have a cell that works mp3 instead of seperate devices coz in a cell phone you can listen to songs with a buit-in speaker without having to plug earphones.
A normal mp3 player has better features though

I think that it's better to have seperate devices. If you lose your phone or break it, or someone steals it, or it stops working, you will be without a phone or your mp3 player. My phone has MP3 capabilities, but I don't use it. I use my iPod. Sure, I have to carry another device around, but it's small and it all goes in my purse anyway. If I use the MP3 player on my phone, that's just ANOTHER thing that can go wrong or break on my phone. I'm not going to risk not having a phone and my mp3. I would probably lose my mind then.

As for the bluetooth question.... as long as both devices are bluetooth compatible, then YES, you can bluetooth pics. You have to be within 30 feet of one another though, otherwise it's out of range and the phones won't discover one another.
