I got my positive from the OPK on Monday, Last night my husband and I had sex and afterwards I stayed in bed with a pillow propped up under my bum and my legs bent. I fell asleep and when I woke up I was still on top of the pillow and no sperm had seemed to have leaked out when I got up it felt like I had slightly peed my pants and when I went to the bathroom the rest of it came out. NOW MY QUESTION IS it isnt harmful to keep all of the sperm inside of you overnight is it.
Second Question- After he came inside of me he made sure to get me off a few more times afterwards, is it better if you orgasm more than once afterwards or does that make any bit of difference??

SERIOUS QUESTIONS ONLY PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE

I have heard that when a women orgasms that it helps to pull the little guys inside a little better to make their swim less difficult I am not sure if that is a myth or what.

Hi there! No, his sperm is not harmful in you. There were many times where when I was ttc after we baby danced where I would do the same thing with staying in bed for at least 20 minutes with a pillow propped under my butt. Sometimes I also fell asleep and then when I got up I had the same thing happen to me. Two things it only takes one little guy so don't worry that you lost all the chances. There are thousands of little guys every time he ejaculates. Second if you are worried about infection or something after you wait the twenty minutes pee right away and then drink a really tall glass of water to help flush out your bladder just in case. That's usually what I do. It seems to help. As far as your second question yes it does help for you to go before and after he does. At least I believe so. That way your body provides the environment needed to keep the sperm alive for longer and if you orgasm after then your uterus contracts pulling all the sperm closer to your cervix where it needs to be. Now many people and possibly doctors might say that it doesn't matter but I believed those little tricks helped me. I have a 16 month old daughter and I am 15 weeks prego again. We baby danced every night from day 9-day20 and I always went three times. Once before and then twice after. Then I stayed in bed for at least 20 minutes. Best of luck!!!!

When your uterus contracts it pulls the little guys inside the zone. Your uterus contracts when you orgasm, so yes. Is it bad to keep it inside you? No, I don't know why you would think that. Sperm live for up to 5 days. And just because alot came out of you doesn't mean that the 'little' that is still in you is so little....sperm are tiny......there are 1000's in just a drop.

No, it isn't going to hurt you if the sperm stays in you overnight. In fact, this is very common and how it usually goes. Second, if you are talking about concieving, orgasms actually do not make a difference in whether you will accept his seed or not. Hope that helps. :) I'm 20 weeks pregnant and we got pregnant on our first try.

Conception RARELY takes places immediately after ejaculation...sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days.......

go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

it is better to have the big O after he has finished. It allows the cervix to dip/contract.....in any case it helps the sperm!

No it wont hurt you withthe sperm staying in for so long! Im sure many people including myself have fallen asleep after sex.

I would baby dance again tomarrow to cover all the basics!

Good luck

#1: It isn't going to hurt you in the least for semen to stay inside of you overnight. Semen can live inside the body for up to three days.

#2: It doesn't matter at all how many times you orgasm or when.

no its not bad to keep it in all night. but i always take a shower that night ( or if you want the next morning) and clean that area really well( you already know that) and it is good to orgasm at least once twice is more fun but not important. good luck and i hope you are pregnant.
