You can't say Christmas it has to be X-mas in a few states, Chicago put a ban on the Nativity Scene One city is now allowing the selling of christmas trees. Some schools won't allow children to wear the colors this is crazy.

I grew up in the 90's none of this was an issue? We don't want to offend other religous groups so lets just exclude one.

I just watch it on Orelly Factor last night, the movie The Natvity scene they aren't allow to play it's previews, there are some grade schools in I think Missouri that don't allow child to wear the Green Or Red during this time because some parents find it offensive. So just because you never heard of it doens't make it not true, world is a lil bigger than you think.

It's all those "special interest" groups that take advantage of our democracy, they believe that the wants of a few should be forced upon the will of many, and unfortunately our laws allow it. Personally I think it suckz....

No organized group of people in the world prefers using the term x-mas to Christmas and is speaking out about it. burn your straw man and start again. Anyone in the entire state of illinois can put a nativity scene on their own lawn or their church lawn and it is completely legal. No public school has banned green or red, except for those who require uniforms or those who have anti-gang regulations (in which case red clothing in some cases would be banned). Your knowledge of Illinois law is alarmingly bad.

The O'Rielly factor is not news, it is entertainment.

Oh my.. I knew it had gotten bad. But I didnt realize it was getting this bad. You know... everyone seems to be forgetting the reason for Christmas. I can't understand what all the uproar is about. I know there are many different religions, and to be a little more appropriate, Happy Holidays is easier to try to not offend people. But, I have NEVER offended anyone when I wished them a Merry Christmas. If they were of a different faith they usually wished me their holiday wish(Happy Haunaka-sorry for spelling) I think everyone needs to take a step back, read about the true meaning of Christmas, and start teaching it to their children.

hmm.. that's just as annoying as people who think Halloween is the devils holiday, for example some schools around where I live do not allow the students to dress up for Halloween or even mention it... my answer to all of this ignorance is busy-body people like to stick their noses where it doesn't belong and like to push their beliefs etc. on others. By the way I LOVE HOLIDAYS, CHRISTMAS AND HALLOWEEN ARE MY FAVES... so I am against people trying to censor these holidays out....

Jesus Christ happens to be the whole reason we have the holiday to begin with. If we take "Christ" out of the name Christmas, what we have is a holiday with no meaning. Everyone has a right to celebrate their religious holidays. I don't get offended when others celebrate their own religions. That's their right, also.
