I see a lot of young people on here asking for answers on their homework. I see a lot more young people readily providing answers.
My question is aimed at these people: Why do you come here for answers? How do you know the answers can be trusted? Do you realize teachers consider this cheating, and you can get in trouble for it?

There is a really big difference between coming here for help and getting answers.
Cheating IS bad. I'm a college instructor. I fight it every week even at the adult level. It negatively impacts your integrity, and it insults your instructor and classmates.
Research doesn't mean having the answers handed to you. It means collecting information to come to your own conclusions.
I'm beginning to realize that if the students don't understand what cheating and research really are, that either they aren't listening in class, or their teachers are really doing them a disservice.
If you are one of these students, TELL YOUR TEACHER to clarify it for you. You should know what cheating is before you get to college!
