We're looking for ideas for our baby's first Christmas, she'll be 9 weeks old and we have all of her gifts picked out but we wanted some cute stocking stuffer ideas.

For gifts we bought her things like her booster seat, exersaucer, jumperoo and small learning toys, things we didn't get off of our registry that we will need later anyway.

1. A "taggie" blanket - google it and you'll find tons of places that sell them.

2. Baby Einstein dvds or videos

3. baby socks

4. a pack of smokes (ok ok, had to throw in a laugh ;)

Poo poo to those who think a 9-week old doesn't "need" a stocking. Christmas is a wonderful time and while your 9-week old will have NO idea what a stocking is, LOL, you will and your first Christmas will be memorable.

Congratulations!!!

At this age, it's more for you and not for her. She won't really be aware of, understand or participate in anything that is going on reguarding the holiday.

Get a family portrait done.

Buy or make a nice keepsake quality blanket, quilt or afgan.

Buy a "baby's first Christmas" ornament as a beginning of a collection she can have once she's all grown for her own tree.

Buy a savings bond to put towards her college education.

A nice set of silverware for when she is ready to start solid foods or self-feeding later next year.

It is never to early to start buying teething rings for your daughter... Sure, she isn't teething now, but those make great stocking stuffers... and it isn't a dumb idea to be doing a stocking when she is that young... it is a mother type thing...

I always thought the little animal wristbands that you can buy in the baby section are cute. We bought our son one that was a little blue bear that wraps around his wrist, and has a little rattle noise to it. Otherwise, I would pick out a couple cute little stuffed animals. Our son is going to be 9 months old, and we got him a "2006" teddy bear. So hie 1st official Christmas. Something he can keep with him. Also maybe some pluggies, we have bought several packs, and somehow they are always lost, so the more the better.

Merry Christmas, and blessings to the little one :)

Books are always good. I had gotten some that you could take to the bath with them, so when they put in in their mouths, which they WILL do, it will be okay. He's almost 4 and he still loves that book. Mimi's Toes it was called. Also slippers with rattles in them. Hangy toys that hang from the handle of the car seat. Don't over do it, they won't remember anyway. But it will be cute for photos and memories!

You do know that you are basically wasting money on stocking stuffers for an infant who isn't even able to focus yet?? I am not trying to be cruel or mean, but it is the truth! She won't even know if she has a stocking! Mine was 7 months old & didn't care!
But, if you must, get her teething rings & baby orajel, socks...they always lose socks...little grabby toys, she will be into that soon...cute little things like that...

I know this is kind of expensive but it is seriously the best toy we have ever gotten:

I know it says 6 months plus but as soon as my baby started playing with toys he loved this.

Also those arch toys that attach to a stroller.

Socks and diaper shirts could fit in a stocking.

Teething rings (you'll need them before you know it)
