Rogue Wave
All amazing musicians with a talent for writing phenomenal, calming songs. I'd specifically say Sufjan actually. His two most recent albums are the first in a series of albums, where each disc is dedicated to an entire US State: Michigan, and then Illinois. The songs on each album have a consistent theme that carries through to the end of the disc. Check all of these guys out, especially Sufjan. You won't be disappointed ;0)
