My husband and I do not use protection since I was told back in my twenties that I could not have children. I am now 36. It is too soon for my period, its not due for another 7 days. But I have been having strange sensations lately ie slight nausia, dizziness, hot and cold sweats. I do not have the typical symptoms such as breast tendersness. I am developing a yeast infection which is something that I have never had before. And lately, have had slight heart palpitations that come a go. So anyway, my question is can you actually experience symptoms of pregnancy 20 days after "conception"?

Yes, it is very possible to have pregnancy symptoms after conception. I am now 38 years old and have three children ages18, 17, and 3. Yes, I said 3, i was told that I could not have anymore children after my second child, due to female problems. At the ripe old age of 35 I found my self pregnant with baby # 3. I had my last cycle on November 1st, I was pregnant by November 13th according to my doctors. I was craving ham and having morning sickness by Thanksgiving and beyond!

If you are indeed pregnant, it is not too early to be experiencing some symptoms. The heart palpitations you describe are not really a "symptom" of pregnancy. The other symptoms could very well be. Note that one does not always experience breast tenderness, especially this early on.

However, you also mention a yeast infection. Before self-treating for that, you should consult your doctor, as he/she would want to confirm whether or not you are pregnant before treating that.

I don't think you're pregnant. Sounds like the stomach flu or just the flu. I got urine on the result window and I still got my BFP. If you're having cycles that last 50 days then you need to see a doctor because there is something more going on than just irregular periods. You could have PCOS which makes it very difficult to get pregnant. I would suggest going to the dr and having them do a blood test to see if you're pregnant and to find out why your periods are so irregular. Good luck.

Absolutely...if you don't have your period, I would test. With my first 2 pregnancies I didn't experience breast tenderness until later in my pg. Also, speaking from experience, those symptoms sound alot like anxiety. If you're not pg, you might want to talk to the dr about other problems. Good luck!!!

I'm not quite understanding the timing, 20 days from the middle of your cycle, with still 7 days till your period's due?

that would give you a 54 day cycle?

yes some people say they have pregnancy symtptoms before their period is due

hot and cold sweats aren't a usual one though, nor is dizziness
