are creative labs mp3 players compatbile to both..pc's and mac's?

Yes, the ipod will work on your PC. The creative labs player will only show up as a hard drive for transferring files on a Mac.

The iPod will be compatible. The device is formatted when you connect it to the PC or Mac for the first time, so you can't then use it on a Mac. As for Creative players, all work with windows, but some aren't compatible with the Mac. It's best to consult their site before purchasing something.
