I was considering going to college(possibly at the school of Visual Arts in NYC) to get a degree in photography. I am wondering if this would be a good decision. Are there any jobs for photographers nowadays? What kind of jobs could I obtain? I could use some advice from some professional photographers. Thanks.

Yeah LOL All you have to do is look around. There are photos everywhere. Billboards, newspapers, magazines, internet, books, everywhere. Go anywhere and you will is a photo somewhere. Someone had to take them. All companies use photos. Ad companies, stock photographers, fashion, magazines, newspapers, hospitals, and almost every big company has a staff photographer.

we have a professional photographer on staff where I work and I think if you check out the field you would find Newspapers and magazines and also you can do freelance
