ever heard of ultra sound. It can be used. But the frequencies and power needed to produce results in some things would actually cause damage to surrounding tissue.

Well my friend, a bass is a very low frequency that us humans can't hear except when magnified with a speaker (usually known as a woofer). These frequencies range under 400 nano-meter in waive lengths (which equals to 400/10^9 meters) and continuous exposure to them can perforate the ear drum. So which would you chose, achy muscles or being deaf?! I'd stick with the achy muscles :)
Hope this helped.

I guess if you had really protective ear muffs.

Bass is probably the most damaging sound to eardrums, because the soundwaves shoot out almost in a straight line, as opposed to treble sounds which zig zag back and forth. Sounds like the straight shot would hit your eardrums with more force.

Well load bass frequencies can actually cause an irregularity in the rythm of your heart, in fact people have died in nightclubs because of underlying heart problems exacerbated by these low but frequencies at high amplitude.

I cant imagine it would be very good for you in any case.

Some of our internal organs are more sensitive than others. If the volume and pitch was sufficient to have a beneficial effect on your spine, it would clean out your bowels in a spectacular manner.

The only organs that gets massaged are the skin, ears and nose.
A large bass speaker would damage the ear, not massage it.
