It depends on what you mean by "strong." Either one can be stronger in their own way.

Age old question that really has no straight answer. Cmon! Physical strength -> men. But, a lot of women can lift heavier objects in proportion to their weight, but since a lot of men are bigger, so it's safe to generalize that physically men are stronger. Emotionally, women. This must be because a lot of women, cry their hearts out, or in latest trends, hit the gym and kill the bag. In short we vent out what we feel, so we can easily cope. The world would suck if it will just be all men and vice versa, our strengths and weaknesses make it colorful. Sounds cliched, but it actually has a grain of truth.

Women of course!! Women have a stronger pain tolerance than men do! Everyone knows that.

Physically - men
Emotionally - women
It all breaks down to we are equally strong in our own way.
OK that was my pc answer.
For my real answer - women - Because we handle stress better, raise kids easier, handle emotions better. Not all women but for the most part i personally think women are the stronger sex.

Physically men, I'm not lifting a secret by saying that. We women are more persistent and often more motivated to get what we want. Now we are getting kids, which is nice, but it influences our careers. I believe without that we would do at least as good as men in business and politics.
Now men who read this, please don't be offended, I don't mean to say you are nothing but dumb powers...I do appreciate you :)

they each have their strong points. while women are stronger emotionally, they are unable to control it as well as men. (how many women who have been pulled over by cops start to cry?) the same could be said about men and physical strength. they are stronger physically but are unable to handle it as well as women. (wars.) its a stalemate.
