Well, it depends on the status of the relationship and your romance level. In my experience, it is the thought behind the gift and the energy expended to please me that I appreciate the most. Meaning a last minute gift card from the drug store doesn't make me feel important to him. I would say jewelry - something she likes (her style) not yours! And it doesn't have to be expensive because preparation and presentation are KEY and can make a HUGE difference in her reaction!! The following have worked wonders for me! 1) plan a nightime picnic with wine and cheese near a romantic spot, a city view, near a bridge, check the moon cycles to make sure there is a big moon 2) at her favorite restaurant (pre-plan something with the waitstaff) 3) take her to a bed and breakfast or some place romantic for a day or weekend (someplace SHE wants to go, not you) 4) try a new activity, such as horseback riding or ballooning or even golf, (something SHE wants to learn) 5) get a hotel room (or use your own home but pick an unusual place) and have tons of candles lit and flowers there and a bath drawn and let her bathe before romance or even bathe her with no expectations, let her relax 6) relaxation is big for women, we tend to "treat" ourselves last - so a pedicure/manicure, massage, day at the spa, etc. is a divine gift! Even better - you learn how to do it and do it for her yourself! Many of these ideas can be tweaked to fit any budget, trust me. I hope some of this helps you. Put some dry ice in a Small ice chest and put a custom made piece of jewelry something designed by you like two body's intertwined in white and yellow gold. on a necklace and put it in the ice chest with the dry ice and just before you give it to her add some water to it to make it smoke and tell her you reached to the heavens above and got her a cloud. then tell her that's how much i love you.

plan a whole day for her and make it all about her. whether it's making breakfast for her and serve it to her in bed. or a dinner of her favorite foods and a rose petal bubble bath by candle light. it doesn't have to be about money or anything material. pampering someone can mean more. of if you prefer to get her something, a day of beauty for her or both of you at her favorite spa. they aren't expensive and could be something she needs. a great massage can do wonders for the spirit.

send her some flowers, take her out for a candle lit dinner, and if you live soe place like Fl. go for a walk on the beach (be sure to take a blanket, strange things happen on the sand at night; so I'm told).LOL

You can give her these two things
- Write her a poem. It does not matter if it is not really A-grade, but the inspiration for the poem should be your girlfirend. You can even have it framed
- Flowers

Don't go with something exspensive and meaningless. Think back to anything she has said. Something small. Maybe something she doesn't really think you notice. From that, get her the perfect present. She'll know you are listening to her and that you really care. Any idiot can buy a bracelet.

Just do her favourite things.. Take her to her favourite place and play her favourite songs in the background and make her feel that its ur favourite day of the year.. She will lose her heart to u!!!

think of what you can give her that will truelly tell her you love her and you appreciate her for everything she has done for you. give her something you know is special to her
