Hi

The laptop I am using at the moment has 700mhz, a 9-gig hard drive, 128MB (RAM) and I have absolutely no problems whatsoever with it. Sure, its about 9 years old (it was my fiances, she has a new one now) but in my opinion of you keep it clean of programs that use up a lot of memory/space then you should be fine. It does take a little longer to load, but i access the net, download stuff, chat and play games such as The Sims with no trouble at all. Of course, its up to you whether to buy it or not, just make sure it is genuine before you buy.

Laptop's cost a lot of money, if your hoping for a brand new laptop for under 350 dollars you should probably lower your standards. It's possible to buy one that price if you buy a used one. Look on craigslist or ebay or yahoo or at local garage sells or swap meets for some. Also be aware that if you do find a used one it may have a virus so get it checked and make sure nothing is wrong with it, if it is, pay to get it fixed or demand for your money back.

In my opinion, it's very slow, has little RAM memory and a very small hard drive - 3 necessary ingredients to ensure efficient use of the machine. If you buy it you'll regret it later.

NO NO NO. Don't do it. this is a total waste of money. go on ebay and look for an ibm t32. this should fall into your buget, and be much better for you
