I dont think that and i'm european how can u say all europeans think that. Obviously there is opposition there called the democrat voters u onli have to look at the mid terms. However when George Bush 'won' the election the 1st time the majority of americans did support him unless you were black then Bush decided it would be a good idea to stop you from voting. Land of the free eh? And btw Dick Eney many Europeans don't speak proper English or make spelling mistakes as the UK AND EIRE are the onli countries in Europe where english is the first language lol. Good 2 see ur Geography and knowledge of Europe is tip top lol

Sure will, are the majority of americans likely to stop lumping all muslims in the same category any time soon ? No, thought not.

This is possibly the funniest, most hypocritical question i've seen in weeks. You have lumped "Every European" in the same category in your question. duh ??

At least when we lump americans together you are all from the same country !

You have a democracy and have chosen your leader even after he'd already proved he was useless. surely you can see why we are all so utterly amazed you have this bloke in power. There does not appear to be too many americans standing up and saying they don't want him. You do, yes, but the majority on here tell us how great he is.

A "dose" of what ?

"So pease think first befor you lump all of us americans in the same catigory sheesh "...and yet you say "Why dose (sp) every Europeans thinks that everyone in America supports President Bush? "

I realise your education is probably quite poor, but surely you can see how daft your arguement looks when you go and do exactly the same thing ?

I think that there is a danger of stereotyping when us Europeans speak of the American populace. Most Americans I meet at my work (I work for the London Tube) are perfectly polite, amenable and intelligent souls, if a little lost!

I am sure most Europeans with an ounce of sense know better than to know all americans are the same, like we all support Tony Blair (I don't) when many of us will be glad when he leaves office next year.

By the way, I am a big fan of Michael Moore and his books/films.

Well who's generalising now? Just like us Europeans would all be in the same lump and all think alike... Besides, how many Europeans have told you this? I'm well aware that Bush didn't get 100% of the votes in election.. sheesh! Ignorance!

ya Ur right and i agree with u being an Indian myself.Ti's human psychology. no one will think that this particular person supports bush and this one does not.and bush represents America and as u all call ourselves as Americans to the outside world and when bush is also an American people will indeed think that all Americans do support bush. u know we hear the news- Iraqis protest against Saddam's sentence to death.but there r a few Iraqis who do not support this protest . so as people of a country we r indicated as a whole and not individually
anyhow i 2 dint support bush . dint worry.

I know you dont all like him. I've got friends in the states that can't stand the man. Anyway, why do all Americans think all europeans have bad teeth? That's a silly question too isn't it? I think we should all get together and concentrate on getting rid of Blair. The man is an incompetent degenerate that lies for a living. It's no wonder his son's a drunk.

Let me assure you that not all Europeans (and I'm including the UK in that grouping ), think "... everyone in America supports President Bush." We are perfectly aware (since, unlike the USA, we have many excellent political analysis programmes on radio and TV, as well as major articles from leading US commentators in our newspapers), that Bush is not supported by the whole of the American people. We know, too, that many Americans think his policy in the Middle East is grossly flawed, and that it has led to even greater threats to the Western world.
Those of us who read (on line) the better US daily newspapers (such as the N Y Times), understand that a large number of Americans are vehemently against Bush, with a ferocity that matches that of Europe. Both groups see his ill advised incursion in Iraq as one of the greatest foreign policy errors in America's history - though America did vote him in (twice!), so too many of you were politically blind.
I am in the interesting position of having a large number of American relatives, with whom I have regular contact, through two way visits, and via frequent telephone and e -mail exchanges. I therefore get first hand and immediate responses to many of Mr Bush's decisions and their effect on American families. Hence I know that not all Americans are ".. war crazed like him..." - particularly those who have family members in Iraq. (NB One of my American nephews started his first tour of service in Iraq only yesterday, which, naturally, makes the Iraq business that bit more personal.)
Anyway, I hope you'll now understand that the _perceived_ feeling you have about attitudes on this side of the Atlantic is totally wrong. Indeed, an American friend (married to a Brit) says she finds British friends only have adverse views on Mr Bush and _not_ on 'Mr and Mrs Ordinary American'.

He won the elections and in a democracy ( however slim) its called a majority. And if a majority support Bush, it is safe to say in general that the Americans support Bush. The others don't count.

To clear things up All Americans don't support Bush. As a matter of fact, no two Americans agree on anything.
I'm an American.

That is not true. I actually just talked to my aunt in Germany, and she is totally aware that not all Americans support Bush. People there are saying that if the Americans could vote for Bush again, they probably wouldn't. But that's out of the question anyways, since he's in his second term.
