For the most part, yes, we budget, I balance our records each Friday and pay our bills the moment they come in and take them out of our acct. I still pay by cheque.
I keep very detailed records and know where the money is and gone.
Occasionally, we do spontaneous buy but usually it's something we've been wanting if it's on sale.

Im 22 so of course I can't budget and I always spontaneous buy...

Spontaneous, for sure. I just recently refinanced my mortgage, though, and took out a chunk of money to do some repairs and maintenance around the house. My mortage payment is doubled now, so I've told myself beginning in January, I am going to have to start budgeting, for sure.

Budget most of the time.
I try not to use the credit card, but I just did for Christmas presents.

I've tried to budget in the past, but I'm a compulsive shopper, so it's pretty close to impossible.

I horde. I'll save and save, and then usually only go shopping on one or two days of the month. I hate shopping. Too much of a hassle.
