What do you know about the structure of aspirin? Is there a functional group or a chemical linkage that can be hydrolyzed easily? If there is (and there is), then that linkage will likely be hydrolyzed by boiling with dilute acid.

That reaction is why when you open an older bottle of aspirin, you kind of smell a vinegar smell.
