Happy.

It's a myth that an increase in minimum wage hurts employees and small buisnesses. In states that have raised minimum wage above the $5.15 national level, there has been an INCREASE in the growth of small businesses and retail jobs.

A worker that feels he/she is adequately paid is a happy, productive worker that sticks with the company. A worker who makes more money, spends more money.

yes I will be. I am disgusted that people feel they should be given a raise for doing nothing but beotching, if they spent half as much time working on gaining skills as they do beotching about how life isnt fair, then they would probably already qualify for a position that earns more than minimum wage.

Not sure why you got reported, fair enough question. I won't be disgusted, just highly annoyed. As a small business owner, I'll have to make some cuts to compensate. It's going to anger more people than actually help.

Did it pass. I hadn't heard. I no longer even care about such things. All the whining in the world doesn't do any good here. I just hope when the whole thing implodes and the world has to suffer a depression that will make 1929 look like a peak year, I am still young enough to hold off the starving masses that will come out to the woods in search of food.

Absolutely, study after study has concluded that government enforced M.W. does not have a positive impact on the economy, in fact it negatively impacts the economy and offsets itself through inflation. Of course the average American does not realize this, so politicians use it as a political tool playing on the ignorance of the public.

I will be if they raise the minimum wage to 35.00 dollars per hour, otherwise it will hurt more people than it helps!!

what else is attached to the bill?? we know that the government doesn't give us something for nothing...we'll pay for it somehow.

They never do anything unless they are the ones that truly benefit from it.

Disappointed perhaps.

Minimum wage does not accomplish anything except higher unemployment, higher prices for goods and services, and a false impression among 18 year olds (the main beneficiaries of the minimum wage raise) that politicians "care" for them.

Yep. Just one more notch in his belt of abandoning the conservatives who got him elected in the first place. The guy is really shaping up to be a complete and total liar.
