Whatever height you happen to be.

There is none. It depends on her genes. If her family was tall then she may be tall if they are short she may be short. But what she eats and weather she smokes can cause her to be shorter or taller as well. Smoking can stunt your growth. Weight lifting at an early age 9-11 years old or earlier, can do this as well. Some of the foods we eat today are filled with growth hormones. Like certain beef. This shows up in milk and in related food. Thus we as a population in America are larger then we used to be.
For the most part height is genetic.

That's a tricky question

I've been 5 feet 1 inch since I was 16

I hope that's acceptable. If you asked me, the last thing a 17 year old girl should have to worry about is her height! Besides, she probably won't get any taller......sorry

I know that you are in an awkward time of your life, and you are feeling different from everyone and rather confused. But everyone's body grow differently, and there is no set height at which you should be right now. Try to stop worrying about it, eat right and get some exercise. Your body will do what it will do.

There is no such thing as "acceptable height". Too much goes into our height. DNA etc. My daughter is 5'5" at 17years old. Her best friend is 6'0" at 18years old. Her best friend's sisters are 5'0" tall at 20 and 21 years old. Mother Nature decides that so just ENJOY BEING FEMALE!!! IT'S FUN

Whatever height that the girl happens to grow to, I hope that a girl has no preconceived ideas for exactly how tall she should be.

There is no "acceptable" height. their is "acceptable" weight for the height. that way you can see if she is good health. C'mon, hispanics are short, germans are TALL, asians are small framed..ofcourse its not EVERYBODY but you get my point. If shes TOO short then shes a midget. thats fine too.

any height is acceptable! why are you asking. i am a tall woman and i assume that i was tall for a 17 year old. dont worry about it. if the 17 yr old is tall then she is elegant and willowy and if she is short than she is petite and cute.
