Its a familiy friend- thats why the labor rate is so low... I just wanted to know how much you think the part would cost

Where in the world did you find a shop that charges $10.00 an hour? It's more like $65.00 an hour. When they find out the problem they should tell you how much before they fix it.

I would be wary of a mechanic that charges $10 an hour for labor. Most are MUCH higher.

The price of the part itself depends on what kind of car it is.

A turn signal module (relay) cost in a range of $10-$50. It is located where all the fuses are. Even you can do it.

most shops will charge .5 hrs labour and depending on door rate take 50.00 with you
