Well...when I hear Philippines I think of the country. When I hear Filipino, I think of a person.
One's nationality. As I have had no interaction with someone from the Philippines, I don't think in any other terms than what I said.

I've only known 2 Filipinos in my life, they were both very short and very outgoing and friendly! So that's what I think when I think of Filipino.
