Shouldn't there be a Ben Wallace Award for the free agent who kills his original team with his departure and manages to make his new team worse as well? Also, can't Ben be credited with destroying the Pacers as well by instigating the Palace Brawl? That's three franchises destroyed in a career, incredible! Here's hoping he becomes a GM. I'm guessing it might have been a mistake to hand out $60 million to a past-his-prime, mercurial, 34-year-old rebounder/defender who can't score, hadn't been an impact player since the defensive rules changed and had just about no chance of getting along with a control freak like Scott Skiles

He really is overrated and so are the Bulls. Everyone was saying how great they were going to be this year, competing for the #1 seed in the East. Since opening night when they slaughtered the Heat, they haven't done anything besides look like an overhyped team.

As Pistons fan I agree that he did kill the Pistons, He even Killed the Magic..As for the Bulls give that to Eddy Curry when he left the scoring in the paint left as well, I know for a fact "Pax" didnt sign Ben for his scoring, he should have held on to Curry and Chandler...Curry for scoring needed in the paint and Chandler for the same stuff that Ben can do (though not as strong as Ben)....as for the Pacers and the Palace Brawl, Ben's reaction to the Artest foul (although it was overkill) Isn't something that is out of the ordinary..Artest was the reason the Pacers are dead check his history...2004 the flagrant foul on Rip Hamilton late in game 6 of the conference Finals, 2005 the Brawl, 2006 the demand to be traded..Pistons, and even the Magic I'll give you...the Pacers give that to yo boy Artest....Bulls Eddy Curry and John Paxson..

The Chicago Bulls has taken a huge step from in simple terms getting previous the first round to championship asperations. people say they could't score at the same time as they averaged ninety 8 factors a sport so with massive Ben there protection is the proper bar-none. the proper defenses are in Chicago the Bears and the Bulls.

Yes there should be! But it shouldnt be a once a year award. It should be one of those lifetime achievement awards.

Sorry, but in no way did he destroy the Pistons. They are doing just fine without him.
