That's a tough call. His movies are great. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Clerks. But Clerks II was hysterical and I LOVE Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. And Chasing Amy was an incredible movie. And Dogma was really good too. Mallrats and Jersey Girl are at the bottom of my list and Jay And Silent Bob Do Degrassi is at the WAY bottom. I've never seen the animated Clerks but I will now that I know about it.

Here is how I rank them:

1. Clerks
2. Chasing Amy
3. Jersey Girl
4. Clerks 2
5. Mallrats
6. Dogma
7. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back

Clerks 2 and Jay & SB might be higher on the list, but Kevin Smith insists on casting his wife, who is neither a decent actress or easy on the eyes. She looks like she could be a grandmother in the Clerks sequel.

Clerks 1 will always be his best work.

Oh it's hard to choose but I think probably Dogma followed closely by Clerks and then Mallrats.

Dogma. A silly comedy with a solid story and some truly valid religious/social arguments that doesn't suck? Count me in.
