First I would ask which N-word you are speaking of....Nerd....well I would say "thank you I am sorta smart....but I would not consider myself a nerd. I don't like learning that much."

If the N-word was neurotic.....I'd have to laugh then agree...lol.

And if the N-word were a racial slur....first I would ask the person if they are color blind....because I am so white....then I would explain my theory of what that word means and that a N-word can be any color.....

Well, for starters I 'd ask if they were blind, becuase white people dont get called that very often. Unless they are dressing in baggy unkempt clothes. Also if someone calls you that then they need to instead tell you what action you have done that made them angry. People dont call other people names unless they are angry. Ask that person that called you that why they are so angry and what did you say, why are you calling me that? DId i do something to make you upset? Find out how you can improve your actions and learn from their mistreatment of you.

N***er is very offensive. i know a lot of them, and they're not even black. but if someone called me N***a...well, that's almost a compliment where im from. like "homey", "dawg"..."you my n***a" means "you're my friend".
