You poor thing, I know how you feel. I am pretty hairy myself, and I have a friend who is as well, but you have to just continue shaving and make the best of it, when I was your age I would get upset too and I cried and got mad at my father for his genes that gave me so much hair, but you learn to live with the cards you were dealt and you adjust. I do shave, and if you have hair on your face, I wouldn't suggest shaving it, I would suggest plugging it, like you would with your eyebrows. You can wax the facial hair as well, that's not that bad. But your body hair, if you get rashes, you need to get yourself some body scrub, and use it before you shave and then you need to put lotion on after you shave, and you will see it will get better. Just make sure that your skin isn't dry all the time, Good luck and remember, you are not the only one like this, you shouldn't hate yourself for this, just learn to deal with it and adjust! It will get better!

Calm down. I'm sure you are not THAT hairy. Body hair is normal for most people. You can shave, use Nair, or wax your legs in the summer, and there are creams that you can use to keep you from getting a rash. Don't shave your face or arms, because that hair will just grow back faster and coarser. You can bleach the hair on your face and arms so that it will be finer and less noticible. Also, you can wax some of your facial hair. You can either do it yourself, or some salons offer this service (ask around at some of the nair salons). I suggest trying the Sally Hansen wax strips for waxing your upper lip and some of the smaller areas. When you are older and finished with school (preferably college) then you can look into laser treatments. By that time, laser treatment will probably be cheaper and more effective. Until then, experiment with waxing your legs (your pants can cover up any mistakes) and try using vitamin E oil or anything with alpha-hydroxy to soothe your skin afterwards. Also, waxing may eventually cause the hair to grow back a bit thinner.

Please calm a little bit, think about all the good things in your life and try to think constructively. For the hair, you can try burning off the hair on your arms by using a fire stove and VERY CAREFULLY bringing your arm closer to the fire. The HEAT, not the fire will burn them off, so you don't need to get too close the fire. I do this all the time and it really works. For any facial hair, like mustache, the ready wax products like NAIR work very well, and those even take away the shortest hairs. For your lower legs, use a razor everyday, but for the upper parts of your legs try to wait till time to wax because these are parts that grow much stronger hair if razed. Then, you could save some money and use laser for any other parts, you have a long womanhood ahead of you, it will never be too late. But I think you may want to ask your doctor to give you a hormone test and receive a treatment if needed. Please don't shut out your mother either, you need someone to speak to, and who better than your mom?

i understand you when you say you don't like shaving...i hate shaving my legs and the hair grows back thicker, so i use those creams you can buy (veet hair removal creams). they are not apt for all places in the body though, if you read the instructions it says where not to use them. i reccomend veet in-shower hair removal cream (works while you shower), buy be careful while using it. for facial hair, they have small mahcines specifically for thatm you could investigate on the internet. for bikini line, i'd say get it waxed professionally. start saving now for laser removal procedure, you could get extra money by doing something like babysitting. in the mean time, you can try those other methods. don't worry too much or think too much about it, and remember to keep your confidence levels up: focuse on other aspects that you like about yourself. we all have body issues, and we must learn to deal with them.
And look on the bright side: at least you won't be bald by the time your seventy!
Good luck!!!!

Shaving will NOT cause more hair to grow back, it only grows back coarser. All of us have it, some just worse than others. And ones who say they don't are lying. I shave mine too. Don't feel bad. Arm hair is okay. You are who You are. Do not ever feel ashamed of who you are, and never do things to yourself to please other people. Believe me, we all have faults, some people just can't admit it. Don't worry, I could grow a moustache.Oh well, maybe a partial beard. It could be hormonal. Not enough estrogen or thyroid hormone can do it. Tell the doctor to please check your hormone levels.

I so undersand!!! I’m 36 and I have tried everything electrolyses, radio frequency treatment (what a waste of money!!) waxing ETC……… Laser hair removal has worked the best for me. The hair has to be dark in order for it to work. It is expensive but has been worth it for me. I had dark hair on my neck and chin and it is just about gone. Good luck!!!! :)
PS: Don't be so hard on yourself. It is what it is, do not hate yourslf for it. It isn't worth it!!! HUGS!!!!!!!!!

You may have PCOS which is a problem with your ovaries not functioning properly. Symptoms include excessive hair growth (including face and chest), weight gain, irregular periods, acne, andf lots more. If you have any of these symptoms as well contact your OBGYN and ask about PCOS. It is often treated with Glucophage in small doses. Left unchecked PCOS can lead to diabetes, heart disease and infertility.
