I don't want it to be sticky when I am finished because we like to walk barefoot on it. So I need a good product or solution that doesn't leave any film on it.

I use a product called **** 'n Span, it comes in liquid or powder form. It has a pleasant smell when you open the bottle but doesn't leave too much of an odor after using it diluted. I don't like to smell anything after I've cleaned my floors! (Esp. a Pine Sol smell or something like that!) The only think about **** 'n Span is that it can be difficult to find.... go to the web site and it will give you retailers in your area.

Hopefully the grout in between your tiles has been sealed? If not, be careful of the products you use. You should seal if possible so as not to get stains in the grout lines!

** Sorry, Yahoo isn't letting me use the correct name of the product as it's a slang term (derogatory) for someone of Mexican heritage... hopefully you know the product I mean! Starts with S and ends with C***

Nothing gets my tile floor cleaner than Armstrong Floor Cleaner. I use it full strength for spot cleaning the tile and the grout and then I dilute it per the instructions on the bottle to mop the entire floor. I buy mine in the largest bottle at Target for $4.49. Also it works great on vinyl flooring, it smells great, and it keeps the floor free of wax buildup.

Hope this Helps!

My favorite thing to mop with is fabric softner and water with a cap of bleach. The bleach kills germs and the fabric softner adds a pleasant smell and shine!
hope this helps!

I like Mr Clean -- comes in several scents (prefer blue), cleans very well, no residue, not much elbowgrease work. Want to come do my floor? We'll play loud music, drink champagne, and mop. What fun?
