u cannot eliminate anything as all of the products can be hydrogenated. But 2-Methylpropene give isobutane upon hydrogenation, whereas the others give butane.

You need more information to eliminate one of the above probably the 4th one.

None of the above can be eliminated since all, when hydrogenated, give the formula C4H10. (MW=58).

I can't answer this... all the molecular weights seem to be 58 when hydrogenated.
Not sure I understand the first bit?

"both gases add hydrogen" what are these two gases? Perhaps the mechanics involved in hydrogenating of one of those can't be done by one of the two gases.
