The fact that they are one of TWO undefeated teams in the nation (the other being Ohio State) should put them in a BCS game. They beat Oregon State 42-14 (who gave powerhouse USC their only loss of the year), 10-2 Hawaii and 8-4 Nevada. The fact that they play in the WAC shouldn't bar them from a BCS bowl. As someone else said, Utah did the same thing in 2004 and won the Fiesta Bowl against Pittsburgh 35-7. The rules of the BCS state that a non-BCS conference team that finishes in the top 12 in the BCS standings is guaranteed a spot in one of the 5 BCS bowls. With the way Arkansas, Auburn, Louisville, Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia played down the stretch, Boise State is probably as deserving as any team. They will probably go to the Fiesta Bowl and play the winner of the Big-12 title game which looks ot be Oklahoma.

While Ohio State has a mostly very talented and awesome team, one of the most critical parts of the team is horrible-the Offensive Line. They have good quarterbacks and running backs and receivers, but that doesn't matter if the QB gets sacked in 2 seconds or the RB doesn't get any pockets to run itnto. If they have a good offensive line, they win the last year championchip and are headed there this year. But they don't, and for that reason Boise should be given the chance. Though I'd like to see either an OSU and Utah/Boise matchup. That'd be sweet I think. I wouldn't say the Big 10 is down that far this year though. Penn St. and Ohio St., both of which are among the best in the nation. Michigan St, Northwestrn, and Minnesota that are solid teams, Illinois which can either be horrible or the most dominant team out there. Iowa is in the same league as Ole Miss, both very good teams, but their records don't reflect how good they are due to some mishaps and close games. And of course, Michigan... the lol team of the year.

Yes I think Boise should be included in not only the BCS but the national title game. It doesn’t matter what conference your in you always have tough opponents. Boise played Hawaii (best offence in the country) Oregon State (beat USC and people think they should be in the championship game) and Nevada (they made them look like a Div 1-AA). The only argument people can have about Boise is the conference they play in and the teams they played. Boise did there part to go be 1 out of 2 of the teams to go undefeated this year and people still question if they should be in a BCS game. Boise State belongs in the national title game with Ohio state. If the NCAA wants to have good ratings and a really exciting game they would put Boise state and Ohio State in the national championship game.

No way, there Conferance is so weak, they play no top 20 teams,as of this time they have them going up against Oklahoma in the Fiesta bowl,Ok. will clobber them, Sure it will be close for the 1st Qtr.but after that Boise defense will get beat up and the Offense will get figured out.Make the BCS games interesting put those 11-1 teams that play some top 20 teams in there but BOISE doesnt stand a chance in any BCS game. They are simply out matched in size ,speed, and the big game Atmoshphere, and Knowledge,Prediction for the game BSUB 14 whoever they play 42.(BSUB should play some tougher non-conference top20 teams before they are considered for a BCS GAME

Yes. They are undefeated and have won most of their games easily. Their out of conference win against Oregon St. 42-14 shows they belong in a BCS game. Why is that? Oregon St. is the only team to beat #2 BCS ranked USC. They are still a Div. 1 school and deserve to play in a BCS bowl game.

Well they will get there chance. They will be in a BCS bowl game this year. No one really wants theym. Also you cannot just simply rule them out because they play in a small conference and against no one. Utah twoyears ago made it into a BCS game and waxed the other team. Urban Meyer was the coach. I do think Boise State will lose but you know maybe this will help them improve and move into a better conference.

yes they should - plus the BCS added another bowl game just for situations like this. Just like Utah 2 years back, they proved they can play with the big boys too. Along with that, is it fair that Nebraska might represent the Big 12 in a BCS game with 3 losses?

god no...if they did, then every elite school would schedule games against D1AA teams just to go undefeated. The best teams play against the best, and that is why Ohio St is #1 and Boise is #8 but both undefeated....Boise couldnt hang with any team in the top 15 imo

No! Did they play #3Michigan? No! #10 Notre Dame? No! # 9 Arkansas? No! They're in a small division called the WAC where the only semi good team in that conference is Hawaii. If they think they're so good then next year their coach should schedule some quality non-conference games.

No, their conference is weak and they didn't beat one ranked team at the time. They did beat Hawaii, but barely and they are ranked 24th now. They will get destroyed if they play in a BCS game. It would be huge loss in revenue if they put them in a game with a big time conference.
