I took 2 of these classes and dropped them both. Yours may be different.
My professor gave us a ton of reading and 1 week before the exam she sent out 20 essay questions and 35 possible definitions that may or may not be on the test. It was a ton of work to get done in one week.
All of these classes are different. I've had great classes and bad ones. Talk to other students who've taken this class and get their opinions. If you know who the teacher is, go to www.ratemyprofessor.com and find them. This may help you.

If you're good at history and don't mind the extra work. My experience with online history was that my friend taking the exact same class I was, from the same history professor, she flunked and I aced it. We're both good at history but it was so much easier to hear a professor explain it and give us a better idea of what was needed. Besides I watched some of his online lectures and they were dull compared to the class discussions. If you think you're up for it and that it won't be a problem, then go for it. But I wouldn't recommend it. Good Luck!

Yeah, you should be okay. You're just going to have to do all the reading on your own. Most 100 and 200 level courses are okay to take online.

It's pretty much just reading, maybe doing some research papers, I don't think that would be hard to do online. Go for it!
