Society views gay men as a sign of weakness. Because gay men........ wait let me rephrase that...... most gay men are feminine. Being feminine, is a sign of being a "girl". Straight men think that......... wait.... let me rephrase that.... Some straight men feel uncomfortable around feminine men so thats why they feel the need to judge gays. Yes.... I know.... its stupid but once people realize that gay people and straight people are just people.... the world would be a better place.

I think all gay people (men and women) are judged, and I never noticed any difference between men and women in that department. But now that I think about it, my answer would be something like... People (especially men) find lesbians hot so they don't usually judge when they see two women holding hands or kissing. With men on the other hand, the "hot" part isn't there to cover the "homophobia" (though it's a strong word to use here)...

Heterosexual men, for the majority, have some degree of curiousity about the same sex (almost all people do at some level at some time in their life) and in today's society that is portrayed as very un-masculine. To compensate for this, and to ease their own concerns about their sexuality, it is very common to deal with it by becoming a homo-phobic. Women together, does not treaten this masculinity, and the idea of it, instead promotes very testoterone filled fantasies.

We've been conditioned to be more accepting of lesbianism, at least the frilly Penthouse kind. It has been in movies and on television forever. Culturally we have been brainwashed to believe that anything that is considered unmanly should be avoided. Frankly, I don't get it either. The world would be a much better place if people could just be whatever they are.

Yeah its not fair and it shouldn't be that way.
Sometimes i you just love to kiss my bf in the middle of the street or even hold his hand. The thought often comes in to me head but sadly i cant because people are so nasty and closed minded!

Because males make up these silly rules and for some weird reason they think they would have a chance to "get-it-on" with BOTH females.
Some men are oblivious to the idea that LESBIANS aren't interested in men. It would destroy their sexual egos to grasp this concept.
But since males make up these rediculous social rules, they also make up the rule that gay men are somehow un-manly.

Because homophobia is linked to misogyny.

A lot of men (and some women even) are bothered by men who "act like women" because they're seen as crossing gender lines. It's a betrayal of the masculine ideal. In our culture, women are still seen as inferior (whether you or I like it or not, and whether it's correct or not) or at least secondary. For a women to "act like a men" is fine, because men are the ideal.

This also explains why gay men find more friends with women. Kindred spirits, and partners in being victims of the misogyny of insecure/homophobic men.

Why does it count? Sexual orientation is extremely some thing you are able to not replace your suggestions approximately actual. each individual has their unique outlook on existence, so why can not they have distinctive sexual orientations? this is their very own approach, and merely like in case you hate broccoli, this is fantastically lots going to stay that way except some thing fairly uncommon and drastic modifications your suggestions. this is motivated via a lot of issues, and in my opinion, i like maximum gay people.

The world isn't fair and people aren't true to even what they say they believe. People say they don't have a problem with homosexuality but as soon as they see their sex doing it, there's a problem. You just have to be confident in who you are and don't worry about what anyone thinks.

Because men tend to like the sight of two women together, while two men together does not turn most women on. Therefore, gay males are not in demand.
