I think its stupid... It just won't be right without PJ! But there's been a new development- New Line's rights to The Hobbit will expire before long, and the person they bought them from has sided with those of us who want Peter Jackson on this movie. So, maybe there's hope...

I don't think it would be at all the same. Peter Jackson has a certain syle that I really like and I would be extrememly unhappy if he didn't get to do The Hobbit. I love Peter Jackson!
