who's the worst boss you've ever had...and who's the best?

Worst boss I ever had was when I was an assistant to my ''best friend'' (who was the manager) at our company.
She stole from the company, fudged the hours she claimed to work, would call in at least a couple times a month, and would NOT go to bat for me when I asked for a small raise. She would also keep commissions for herself that were rightfully someone elses.
I came across personal papers she was ignorant enough to leave in the office (because she paid bills and did her banking while at work) and found out she was making a TON of effing money by getting bonuses due to everyone elses hard work.

To top it all off, she found out she was pregnant and I KNEW with every fiber of my being I'd be expected to run the show while she was out on maternity leave and I wouldn't get a red cent extra (altho she assured I wouldn't be expected to do management duties, yeah right!!)~~so for a few months I laid low while looking for a job. Sure enough, a few weeks before her due date she began doing some stealth management training w/ me (like I wouldnt realize what was going on).

Here's how I got my revenge: She was due mid-April...I found another job around the 1st of April. I told my soon-to-be-ex-boss on a Monday that my last day would be the following Friday (4 days later)...the look on her face was PRICELESS!!!! She was in quite a state scrambling to get the store covered.
I quit that place not a moment too soon: my last day was a Friday...she had the baby the very next Tuesday.



I have a job I LOVE now with not one, but TWO, great bosses! Karma is a WONDERFUL THING!!!

The worst boss I ever had replaced into easily 2. A married couple who own the cafe I labored at. She is a diminutive Texas belle who's passive aggressive and completely insane. he's an ex boxer who has the worst temper ever and thinks that yelling is the only thank you to get by to you. to not point out they have six cameras pointed at their workers which they watch on stay internet-cam after which call up and permit you recognize to not be doing besides the fact that it rather is you're doing. AND we had to positioned on denim tops and bottoms. interior the summertime. whilst it replaced into sizzling. Tucked in. So awfull.

The worst boss I've ever had was in high school when I worked at a local pizza restruant. He let his wife just sit on her booty and do nothing all morning so that I would have to do all the work in the evening. The best boss I've ever had is the one I have now; he's truly a great boss.

The worst boss I ever had was when I was 22 and became a corporate receptionist in downtown los angeles, california. He was a bigot and nasty rude, oh god, I hated him.

The best was when I was 15-17 working at a hole in the wall restaurant (Italian food) and my boss was like my cousin.

My best boss is my current boss. He is a principal at the school where I teach. He cracks me up because he pronounces words wrong on the intercom like "extracurriculum activities" and "duty posters" (instead of posts). My worst boss was a doctor. He threw a chart at me and cursed me out in front of patients.

I had two -- One that didn't believe I had a miscarriage (I brought my paperwork to them and even had the doc call them) and another who actually sent me to an employee's house after he had an arguement with another co-worker (I was the boss' assistant/vp)

I had a boss who was 21 with a power trip!!! He was a total asshole. We would give suggestions and if he didn't think of it he would shoot it down....I couldn't stand him.
