Sure, any human being is capable of a strong monogamous relationship regardless of sexuality. Although it's more likely that a female in the same situation would be more prone to have a long-term committed relationship than a male, but it's certainly possible...not just possible, but it in fact happens all the time.

Yep, I've been married to my wife for the last 27 years. We've been together for 30.

I am polyamorous and part of our polyamorous relationship includes rules which allow her to veto any new love interest I have. This gives her a feeling of security in our relationship. She's had the right to be in a relationship with anyone she wishes. I don't feel the need for the right of veto.

January saw the end of a relationship I had with WW and SM, now my ex-bf and ex-gf. They still remain together, but issues of personality didn't make it a healthy relationship for me to be in.

With regards to a following comment - Greedy bastard? Just because I'm attracted to both men and women that makes me a greedy bastard?!? Interesting. Just because I'm attracted to them doesn't mean I get to sleep with lots of them (dammit). Just because I'm poly doesn't mean I get to sleep with lots of people. The last 5 months of the relationship mentioned above had no sex.

How does my being attracted (which I have no control over) to two genders make me greedy? I sure as hell don't want sex with everyone, anymore than gay guys will sleep with any guy or a heterosexual woman will sleep with any man.

YES!!! I'm in one!! I'm a straight female, involved with a bisexual male!! Alot of the times, I'm thinking, "is he checking out that chick or the dude?" most of the time I believe its the dude because all men are handsome!!
Seriously.... Its hard at times, but overall we have a blast together and I think thats all that really matters at this day and age. People need to quit questioning the world and the "gay community" and just have fun!!!

Well I just got married a year ago and I was looking for a wife that would let me have a boyfriend every once in a while due to the fact that se cannot provide the same thing in bed. Hey, as soon as I convince her I say, Will you marry me? I'm telling you it was hard but she understand, the only problem that I see to it is that you might not want to tell your female partner you have sex with a dude, which will be cheating, but you should do what you desires lead you to. You only live once and as long as you use protection you will be 99% aight, you heard me!?

Oh yeah! I've been doing it for a long time now. Sex is sex and just feels good it doesn't matter if it is with a guy or a woman. I am in a log term relationship with a woman but like the occasional romp with a guy.

Of course. I have known several guys who like sex with guys but are in a long term loving relationship with a woman.

forget about your first answer, it's just a pulling thing, maybe he thought he would optimise his chances, not offence but i'm sure you/he took it. in my opinion, i think yes, especially if it was a girl that wants to do the guy thing with the guy in question. is not as if you don't you just like both, first find out who you like the strongest and just go with it, at all times, not just this time happy hunting.
