Is the first poster high or just plain stupid?

Anyway, if you're going to get a 360 just for Gears of War, then I wouldn't recommend it because it's a huge investment to spend 400 bucks just for 1 game. And let's not forget the XBL gold membership if you want to play against others online. But if you want it for other games, then go ahead and get it. It's a great system with great games just starting to come out.

Gears of war is a lot of fun. The single player/co-op campaign is short but really cool and the difficulty settings allow for a good change. The multiplayer is really intense. By itself i wouldnt say the price tag of the 360 is worth it. But with all of the other good titles that are out and are coming out in the next year or so, I think its the 360 is worth it.

gears of war is a great game with some amazing graphics, but if that is your only reason for buying a 360 i would advise you not to, the 360 does have other games that i personally enjoy but is the only game you would like is gears of war then it would be stupid to buy it, you should buy a system that will have the kind of games that you want on it, even it if means that you will miss out on other games, that was why i bought my 360

I advise you to buy a playstation 2 because all Xbox 360 and gamecube games are released on it.

Get the 360 Gears of warfare is impressive plus Halo 3 comes out next year and Saints Row is yet another sturdy sport. To the guy putting forward the 360 is wide the PS3 makes the 360 seem small. Plus the 360 performs DVDs and the WII does not.

yes especially when you can get a 360 which visually is more powerful than the ps3 and can outperform the ps3 in 1080p for $100.00, there is no reason not to get it.

p.s. get xbox live
