Perhaps, alshtough most have preconceived notions about this man. I do believe we need to dialog with him, after all we put the Shaw in power, which Iran reeebelled and brought in its current sysytem, its time to drop our preconceptions and learn to get a long

When Charles deGaulle decided to retire from public life, the British ambassador and his wife threw a gala dinner party in his honor. At the dinner table, the Ambassador's wife was talking with Madame deGaulle:

"Your husband has been such a prominent public figure, such a presence on the French and international scene for so many years! How quiet retirement will seem in comparison. What are you most looking forward to in these retirement years?"

"A penis," replied Madame deGaulle. A huge hush fell over the table.
Everyone heard her answer... and no one knew what to say next.

Le Grand Charles leaned over to his wife and said, "Mon cherie, I believe ze English pronounce zat word, 'appiness!'"

Yes, considering all his letter did was condemn us; it will open the eyes of Americans so they can see who we are dealing with.

Hitler played brilliantly off of the fears of the British and French of another world war in the 1930's, and was able to seize a lot of land without firing a single shot. That is when the world found out that appeasement only makes an aggressor more aggressive. Ahmadinejad is doing the same thing; hope people don't forget the lessons of world war two.

Hopefully more Americans will be able to recognize what a two-faced, evil, lying sack of crap he is. I cannot believe anyone is taking anything this KNOWN terrorist and kidnapper has to say seriously. He should have been assassinated in 1979 after he kidnapped all those people. To let him come to power again is disgusting and only makes me think that Iranians are that much worse than I used to think.

Let's see. He is the leader of a country that The Bushies keep insinuating an attack on, therefor, I believe we ought to hear what he has to say. Then, if we actually get an unspun/unedited version (we won't ) we could decide whether it changes our views.

Ahmadinejad's attempts to get to the people of a foreign state over the head of the Executive, darn well should change the views of any Americans who think Iran is not a problem.

He will only further harden me against him.

And to any who do not understand how our laws work in this country, matters of diplomacy belong to the Executive power, alone. Well settled law.

Those that actually believe Iran is our enemy has been brainwashed by the propaganda. Those that believe what they see on TV are terrorists training, marching in the streets, etc are misled. Those that think Iraq had weapons or was a threat, has passed ignorance up.

I have one simple question for all those that say we should invade N.Korea, Iraq, Iran....any of them.

Name one time, in any of the religious writings of when Jesus ever picked up a sword to fight his neighbor or those that hated him.

Even when he was being arrested to be crucified one of his followers picked up a sword and cut a guards ear off. Jesus was angry that others felt that he had taught them to fight with swords. And he said eye for an eye, arm for an arm, leg for a leg. To fight with the sword means die by the sword.

When will the world wake up to the basic simple principle that he was teaching us? That fighting and hatred never solves anything, it just causes more fighting and hatred.

If his letter is properly translated it hopefully will clear up alot of misconceptions about Iran. I am actually looking forward to reading that and seeing what he has to say, thanks for mentioning this. We caused alot of turmoil to the Iranian people by backing the Shah and tensions have only escalted ever since, I think that both countries need to be the bigger person and be willing to talk. Ahmadinejad is doing his part with this and now we will see what we do. We do not need to bomb Iran that would be ridiculous.

he lied when he was there the last time. went back to his people and said the exact opposite he said here. Ofcourse people will believe him. Hes a politician. He has people who tell him what the american people want to hear and he says it. If you listen to what he tells HIS people is what his agenda is.
