My sister loved Duran Duran in the 80's and still does today. It borders on obsession. She has gone to Reno to meet them as a fan and belongs to their fan club and has a web site dedicated to them. They were a girly band I suppose and still are finding some success as such.

That is so not true!I grew up in the 80's and tons of guys liked Duran Duran.

there is not something incorrect with duran duran, yet commercially they have been at their top interior the '80s, so as that they are recognized in some circles as an "80s band" i in no way heard them called a "undesirable '80s band" in the previous besides the fact that it rather is a controversy of opinion.

Absolutely not! They were very cool bands akin to the Killers or Franz Ferdinand.
