Yes My dog goes after my hubby if he tries to wake me. My dog knows I want sleep and he cares about that.

definitely! I have spanked her in the past and she still licks and kisses me whenever I feel down. She looks at me to ask me for permission whether to let her go to the front patch of grass on the sidewalk to check on her "territory."

I know mine do,When I come home they are all over me and are so happy to see me,If I act like I am crying they will come to see what is wrong and give me lots of kisses.One of my dogs if you act like you are hitting me,he will get after you.So I know they all care about me.

after my dog was gone for 3 weeks she whined and hooted and hollered until they let her out from behind the door then jumped on me when i went to go get her at the animal shelter.

i believe that my dogs do. whenever i am upset they will always cuddle up near me and lick my face or hands. and when i am happy they are happy. they do whatever i do and follow me everywhere. i think they know that i love them and they love me too.
